The transition to college is both exciting and overwhelming. You’re in a new environment with new responsibilities, often far from home and familiar faces. The pressure to succeed academically, socially, and personally can lead to feelings of anxiety, stress, and isolation. Together, we can explore strategies for managing these transitions, fostering resilience, and developing a strong support system that will help you thrive both in and outside the classroom.

Making new friends in college can be challenging, especially in a new, unfamiliar environment. If you're feeling isolated or struggling to connect, you're not alone. We’ll explore how to navigate social situations, break through shyness, and build authentic, supportive friendships. It’s important to develop connections that align with your values and interests while also balancing your academic and personal life.

In today’s digital age, it’s easy to feel like you're missing out on experiences, events, or connections when you see what others are doing on social media. This fear of missing out (FOMO) can increase anxiety and leave you feeling inadequate or disconnected. Together, we’ll explore how to manage these feelings, develop healthier social media habits, and focus on building fulfilling, present-day experiences that align with your values and well-being.
Consultation
Think of it as a first meeting with the therapist to get to know each other and decide if working together feels right. It's like a "getting-to-know-you" session, not a full therapy session.
We will discuss what are some of the challenges you’re facing and what you hope to achieve. You don’t need all the answers; it’s just about sharing what’s on your mind.
